Kids Count on Us

Kids Count On Us is a statewide coalition of providers, parents and teachers united to create quality, affordable childcare across Minnesota. 

Parents want the very best for their kids – and our leaders ought to want the very same. That means childcare you can trust, no matter your income level. That’s why Minnesota should fully fund the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) which provides support to make great child care affordable no matter your income.

Meanwhile, a few politicians are pitting communities against one another based on race, religion and ethnicity to distract us from the kickbacks and tax cuts for the already wealthy, while people who work for a living are left scrambling.

It’s time to make a change. 

All children deserve love, dignity and have rights, not just those whose parents happen to be wealthy and well connected. Kids deserve a safe, creative, supportive, culturally responsive and relevant environment in order to thrive in years to come.
