About Rev. Carolyn Fure-Slocum
As a member of First United Church of Christ in Northfield and College Chaplain at Carleton College, Carolyn has been active in Isaiah since 2012. Before going to seminary, she was a community organizer with MN COACT, working with farmers and communities in southern MN. That experience enhanced her commitment to leadership developmentâempowering people to gain the skills and the power they need to be able to address the issues they are concerned about. She is ordained in the United Church of Christ and has focused on interfaith and social justice work in her chaplaincy.
