Church of Ascension Immigration Trainings

The Church of Ascension has trained 15 parishioners to accompany immigrants to civil and immigration court hearings; participated in prayer services at the Whipple Federal Court Building; held a meeting in April, 2019, with local MN legislators at the church; and walk daily with migrants, immigrants and refugees in their quest to integrate themselves into our faith community and the social fabric of society.

Ascension is an inner city, ethnically and culturally diverse parish with a large Latino community.
