ISAIAH’s Prophetic Resistance: Week of May 31, 2017

Our Prophetic Resistance work at the State Capitol is mostly over for the year, although some of the things we were working on are still unsettled. We’ll keep you updated.

We had a big victory!

Paid sick leave for 150,000 working families in Minneapolis and St. Paul has been saved! Because of your voice, your phone calls, emails, and visits to the Capitol, the Governor vetoed the pre-emption bill! Because of your efforts, individual cities can require businesses to provide sick leave or raise its minimum wage.  Thank you!

“Without prophetic vision, the people shall perish” (Proverbs 29:18 Jubilee Bible 2000)

Help us raise $20,000 before the end of June so we can continue our resistance and begin to cast a prophetic vision for the common good.

We must switch gears on our work now. We must not only resist that which is bad, we must put forth a vision for the common good in which to strive toward. Over the summer and fall we will engage thousands of people across the state. Together, we will craft a Prophetic Vision for Minnesota.

This outreach will require significant funding. Help us cast a Prophetic Vision for Minnesota by chipping in what you can today.

If you’re not able to give at this time, your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Working together, our light will create a brilliance that the world has never known.
