Massive Direct Mailings to Voters

Massive Direct Mailings to Voters

ISAIAH undertook a direct mailing campaign to reach and connect with religious voters on our commonly shared values and asking them to oppose the voter restriction amendment. Others were invited to act on their faith in the public arena and to allow their faith to inform their decisions at the polls.

To this end, ISAIAH created a series of direct mailings/handouts that reached over 61,000 discrete religious voters throughout the state:

Make Sure Every Voice Is Heard In Our Democracy

2,500 handouts were given out in congregations across the Twin Cities and in St. Cloud (and given out/left behind by volunteers knocking on doors to convince religious voters to oppose the Photo ID Amendment.)

How Do We Act On Our Faith In The Public Arena?”

4,000 postcards were sent out inviting members of suburban area congregations to separate Candidate Forums/Listening Sessions in Maple Grove, Eden Prairie, Crystal and Inver Grove Heights and St. Cloud.

God’s People Lead the Fight for the Right to Vote

10,000 postcards were sent to African American households in the Twin Cities metro area to encourage them to keep our elections free, fair and accessible.

How Will We Move Our Leaders?”

4,000 postcards were sent to suburban households introducing voters to the set of common values championed by the Prophetic Voices movement and asking them to become Prophetic Voters by using this set of values to discern how to bring their faith to the polls.

Vote No on Voter Restriction

12,000 postcards were mailed to religious voters in Minnesota’s First Congressional District.

Get Out the Vote

42,500 postcards were mailed to African-American households in the Twin Cities Metro area.
